Description
Hello, I'm an Italian teacher, career advisor and counsellor. I have a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge University and a DITALS Certification for teaching Italian to foreigners, from Siena University.
Currently I'm teaching English in a State High School and I teach Italian to foreigners ,besides doing some vocational guidance and counselling work.
I am planning to spend a week overseas next December/first nweek of January, helping out anybody willing to speak Italian and/or English and/or take lessons in both languages. I will be available from March, 28th to April, 4th (which is, Italian Easter holidays) and then from late June on for the whle Summer.
On January, 7th I need to be back at work in Italy, but if things work out well I can come back during Easter holidays in April and during the Summer. I am willing to have the pleasure to meet people and exchange life experiences and views.
I can teach both English and Italian. I'm flexible, I am a very good listener and I'm keen on relationships. I' m good at teaching and at estasblishing warm & friendly relationships with people, I like meditating and I love nature. I' m not so good at doing manual practical work, I' d rather give a hand with relational tasks ( including answering the phone, being at a reception, giving information or things like that...) I can cook and I can drive.
I am and always have been enthousiastic abot life stories, and have a good understanding of human nature.
Thanks to Workaway exchanges I spent two great months in France (Occitanie and Lille) in the Winter and two more very exciting & rewarding weeks in Nantes in June . In March I spent 12 days with Juanita in Austria (Vienna) and it was so very good tyo teach her Italian, eschange experierncers, talk and read books together. I found it quite easy to live with different people teaching Italian, helping out with every day tasks, exchanging views and experiences, visiting around. I am feeling so grateful and enthousiastic about such experience that i would love to continue in the future.

I am Italian and I'm fully qualified for teaching Italian to foreigners. I have a DITALS Certification (for teaching Italian to foreigners) from Siena University for foreigners and a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge University.I have had many very successful experiences both in Italy and abroad, teaching my own language to adult learners, professionals, miliotary, and private students. I have been an Italian teacher in England, Spain, USA (Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco) through homestays with local families with a passion for Italian culture and language.hanks to Workaway exchanges I have just come back from two great months spent in France and in Austria (Vienna) where I stayed with different people teaching Italian, helping out with every day tasks, exchanging views and experiences, visiting around. I am feeling so grateful and enthousiastic about such experience that i would love to continue in the future.
