Description

Hi, I'm Alexis! I'm 25, from Texas (United States). I'm very extroverted and creative, my chosen art medium is painting (acrylic/gouache). I love to hike, swim, and travel and am super excited to experience other cultures. I have spent all of my working life in various nonprofits, from ecological sustainability projects to food access organizations, and am looking forward to volunteering across the globe. I'll be travelling for a while, having started in late February. I'm looking for farmstay/ranchstay, NGO, and hostel opportunities. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Bilingual- English/Spanish, capable of teaching English, some experience with teaching beginner level Spanish.
Experience volunteering in various hostels, helping with reservations, cleaning, etc.
Volunteer coordinator experience/experience running large projects with 50 participants
Strong background in admin/computer work, happy to learn new systems.
Extroverted hard working, interested in hands-on/difficult work.
Some gardening experience (personal garden only, currently)
Painting experience
Some cooking and sewing experience

Autres infos...

I'm very creative, and love to learn about new types of art, from painting to sculpting to beading. I also love EDM & have really enjoyed going to various technos while traveling, and gaming, especially open world RPGs like Skyrim or Red Dead Redemption. I'm very interested in learning about farming and animal husbandry since I haven't had much of a chance to learn about any of that in the US as well as learn about different kinds of NGOs and how they operate :)
