Actuellement, je suis

Description

Traveling to Europe in winter/spring 2026 and looking to find a way to connect with the land, work on a community project, and learn about growing food. I am passionate about shared experiences in the outdoors, and I work as a sea kayaking guide in one of the most beautiful parts of Alaska (Kenai Fjords, based in Seward, AK). It is a privilege to be able to share my small corner of the world with people, and I try to communicate that we live in an interconnected natural world where humans are not on top of the pyramid, but work together with all of the other forms of life here. I hope to explore this theme on my trip to Europe and continue to build an interwoven web of community wherever I am.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am strong and a fast learner! What I lack in hard skills specific to farming, I make up for in dedication, soft skills, and curiosity. I enjoy creative projects, or repetitive tasks that allow me a meditative space. I am always interested in a new challenge and am open to whatever projects need to be done. I speak Spanish and English. I love to cook. I am a good editor. I like to be outside in the elements! I have worked in many different jobs, from restaurants (anything from serving to line cook to chocolatier), childcare, wilderness guiding, ski instructing, English teacher in Malaga, delivery driver, to my short stint at a tomato greenhouse. Always open to learning something new.
