Description

Hey, I'm Ruth from England.

I am traveling Canada 🇨🇦 working east, firstly I am revisiting places I came to when I was younger, but mostly importantly embrace and enjoy the Canadian way of life.
Now I am in Halifax, Nova Scotia, happy to be by the sea once again, thinking about Newfoundland next would love to meet other travellers heading that way.

I have just spent the last year travelling around Australia, which was an amazing experience. During that time, I explored fastly different environments, from busy cities, too remote outback towns, really getting to experience the country’s lifestyle and culture.

Previously, I have been travelling a round Central America specifically Costa Rica where I spent the majority of my time immersed in the culture perfecting my Spanish volunteering at a animal rescue centre before then travelling to Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua.

I am interested in finding out more of what the world has to offer from discovering how lovely it is to talk to other people and find out their life experiences it has made me eager to go out and do more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Knowledge of Ornithology and the natural world (I have a degree in Zoology).
I am able to empathises with people and talk to a wide variety of people from all backgrounds.
Through previous work as a lifeguard I am first aid trained.
I have worked with and organising groups of people especially children to involve in the outdoors and arts and crafts.

I enjoy going on walks around the lovely national park that I live in. As well as going climbing at my local wall. Meeting up with friends and family for coffee and days out.
