I stayed at their place for a whole month in the summer. Their life is literally in nature because they have an open huge garden by the river, and the veranda is always surrounded by greenery. I always felt I was a part of nature and loved the environment. I did the care for the vegetable garden, house maintenance (cleaning the house and the
… read more garden and painting walls), animal care, etc. All jobs were new for me, so I learned so many things from Tomas and Jana. Their knowledge and skills are interesting and wonderful. I respect them because they always try to do things in a waste-free and nature-friendly way. They allowed me to work flexibly, so I could do tasks without any stress. The most memorable part of my stay is the life with their kids. The two children are very energetic and friendly. I really enjoyed playing and talking with them. I was so glad that they always tried to speak to me in English, and their English level was enough to understand each other. They are so clever. The family always allowed me to accompany them to various events. I felt like a member of the family. I had a wonderful time with them and a most memorable time this summer.
I recommend joining them if you like nature, outside activities, DIY, kids, and communication.
Marine and Estelle spent two weeks at our place. They were great guests, we were very happy to meet them and our kids just loved them and did not want them to leave ever. We stayed with Jana and Tomas's family for 2 weeks and we truly loved being around them. From the beginning, Jana really welcomed us as part of the family, we felt really comfortable around her and Tomas, they really are kind, generous and sensible people. We really felt a connection with them. One of the best parts about this family are the kids,
… read more Sari and Vojta. We miss them so much, we felt very close to them. They are both very kind and smart children, their English level is so good for their age. We loved our "working" time here, everytime they were giving us more and more interesting tasks, it could be cooking, baking, making marmelade, sewing, creating Halloween costumes... Their idea was always giving us tasks to have fun and it worked so well ! During those 2 weeks, we had the time to visit Prague, Vlasim and Benesov (we would definitely suggest the castle). Jana would always be flexible to drive us to the train station or to Vlasim. Our accommodation was in the attic, it could be cold some days when the weather wasn't good but they always suggest to come down to the living room where it's heated. We really enjoyed those 2 weeks, we miss them a lot and we wish to come back one day ❤️

Jana and her two boys spent one week at our place. Together with our children, the house seemed very full, but it was fun and the kids went along well. Our children were very happy to have new friends here to play with and enjoyed it. Jana was trying her best to help us in the garden and around the house even while having her children around her.
… read more Aleš and Tomáš are quite self-dependent and used to playing on their own, so they always left her some time to do work. The communication with the boys was also very easy, when we explained our house rules to them, they simply followed.

Jana and Tomas were very friendly and willing hosts. They were also hospitable and benevolent. I felt bad that I should work more, but they were very kind and wanted us to more enjoy our visit. It took me two days to get used to the specific conditions, but the children loved it there from the first moment we arrived. They especially liked the

We had a great time having Jasmine as our guest. She is easy going, fun, but also hard-working and diligent at the same time. She was always very willing to help with anything. Gal and her friend Tom were a big help for us. They were not afraid of any kind of work and did the tasks and chores with smile and humor. They were also able to work quite independently, so we could focus on another matters when needed. The conditions were a little more difficult due to the ongoing house reconstruction, but they didn't mind.

We also had some very interesting discussions about their life and culture. Wish we had more guests like them.
