Hello!

My name is Akli, I’m 24 years old, and I study physics in Paris. I am looking for hosts, preferably in Italy or Scandinavia. After doing a student exchange in Italy, I felt deeply drawn to the country, whose culture shares similarities with France while also having its own unique characteristics and remarkable regional diversity. I also had the chance to visit Sweden for a few days, and since then, I've wanted to learn more about the country and, more broadly, Scandinavia—a region very different from where I live in terms of both culture and nature. Of course, I am also open to discovering other European regions and their unique aspects like Central Europe with its diversity of countries and therefore diversity of cultures and people which I know a little about.

I am open to different types of work and willing to stay for up to a month, or even longer if needed, with hosts who would like to welcome me. I have decided to take a six-month break from university with the goal of meeting people from different backgrounds, lifestyles, and interests—and, more generally, stepping out of my comfort zone. I came across the Workaway platform on a forum and was immediately drawn to the concept. I would love to help hosts with their projects, exchange ideas, share interests, and learn new languages. I have a passion for science (as you might guess from my studies! 😆), drawing, reading, and outdoor activities in general.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-I speak fluently french and can help for learning it.
-I am used to handy work , for my study were i had to do practical workshops, and also from hobbies i used to practice like drawing or clay modeling.
-Having lived in the countryside during my childhood and adolescence, I am comfortable with the idea of ​​outdoor work, having often help to maintain our big garden .
-I have practiced sports a lot in the past, mainly rowing and athleticism.
-Alongside my studies, I worked in the retail industry as a versatile employee and did some volunteering for charity events assisting with logistics.
