Description

I am an outgoing and social person - I love meeting new people and forming friendships that last. Traveling is important to me. Whether it is experiencing new cultures, seeing new things or just learning to live independently and solve problems on my own. I love snowboarding, hence my interest in Canada! I have just travelled around Europe for three months and am now looking for work-for-stay opportunities and eventually paid work to do a snow season in Canada.

Some of my key skills are time management, communication, organisation and creativity.

I have graduated Macquarie University with a bachelor in Marketing and Media.

I received my Higher School Certificate with an ATAR of 94.15. I received the Academic excellence award for achieving the highest possible band in several areas of study, particularly biology, studies of religion and advanced English. I would love to share my knowledge on these topics with others.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Warehousing and e-commerce | Surf SUP Warehouse Brookvale
• Running daily stock and sales reports on Excel and QuickBooks.
• Point of sale: Picking, packing and completing sales with online sales systems
• Communicating with customers and delivery partners via phone and email.
• Posting to the @surftechausnz Instagram regarding new stock, sustainability initiatives and brand purpose related content.
• Multi-tasking: balancing competing demands of the job, including walk-ins, online orders, organising stock, cleaning and social media posts.

Support Educator | Eye Heart Science
Science education program for children K-6.
• Following weekly training courses: learning hands on practical science based activities which translates directly to classroom activities and explanations.
• Assisting in skill building: support the development young minds learning beyond typical classroom theory – importance of trial and error, children making their own mistakes and learning, having the freedom to create, explore and experiment.
• Communicating with young minds: tailored approach to communicating with young children, being creative, exciting and engaging. Each individual appreciates, and is receptive to various teaching styles, being creative and having the ability to adapt was key in this role.

Marketing Assistant | Pharmacare Laboratories
Part time paid intern ship – Working primarily on the rebranding and redevelopment of Aquasun sunscreen products. Assisting with the Australian vitamin brand Quality Health
• Communicating with developers on new products.
• Pricing revision and assessing competitive positioning.

• Forecasting using IBM statistics and SPSS platforms.

I have two younger sisters who I have looked after and helped teach/tutor throughout their primary school years. (I had graduated when they were in year 1 & 3)
