My main motivations in life are centred around traveling, meeting others and engaging with different cultures. Having spent a few months backpacking around Asia, doing the usual backpackers route, it really showed me just how much world there is out there to see. After returning to the UK, I decided to undertake a undergraduate degree in Criminology at university. One degree and pandemic later, I decided it was time to get back on the road, and see some of the world through travel once more, with the aim of connecting with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Over the past month I have walked the santiago camino (May-June 2023), this was over 500 miles, and involved walking over the pyranese, from France into Spain. Having finished the walk, it has lead me to Porto, where I made the decision I was not ready to return back to the UK yet, which has resulted in me signing up for WorkAway, and ultimately writing this profile from a hostel in Porto. As of 2024, making my way through France, Spain and Portugal.

Having recently graduated from University, I developed a writing style that could certainly come in helpful. I am native English. I also spent a number of years in the military before going to university, which means I am physically fit, and do not mind getting my hands dirty should any tasks require it. I have a little experience working with children, having spent a week at a summer camp for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
