Hi! My name is Vivianne and after I finish my bachelors degree in psychology this Spring, I want to travel across Greece and the Greek islands before I have to go back to studying for my masters degree in clinical psychology. I fell in love with Greece and its people, the delicious food, nature and culture already after my first visit and I am very excited to travel across the country for a longer period of time now. I would love to get in contact with the Greek people and culture more and right now I am learning the Greek language as well (or at least I am trying to ;) ). I am mostly interested in projects with animals, lots of cultural exchange and/or working in hotels/cafés/hospitality. Besides my studies, I work as a waitress in a cozy cafe/restaurant with sunny terrace, which I really enjoy. I like to serve all the different kinds of people that come to the cafe, advise them about our craft beers and to have conversations with them when possible, but I am also definitely a hard worker. My friends describe me as a positive person who is always happy, caring and friendly to others. You can make me really happy with having quality time with friends. I love good food (maybe with some delicious wine or (craft) beer), but also cozy nights with a movie and tea and/or good conversations, good music, playing (board) games and watching football. I also really enjoy cooking too and I really would love to learn to cook traditional Greek dishes. When I find the time, I play the clarinet in an orchestra in my hometown too. Furthermore I love animals and would love to be surrounded by animals and work with them during my travels as well. I am very open and I really look forward to travelling alone as a chance to meet new people, gather new experiences and further develop myself, as well as to learn more about the Greek culture and to explore the beautiful nature and ancient history of Greece. Looking forward to it all!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

The languages I speak on a native/advanced level are Dutch and English. I speak German on a basic level and I am learning the Greek language now. I hope to have reached a A1 level of the Greek language before my travels and hope to further learn the language during.

I really love animals and grew up with lots of animals and know how to handle them with care (I've always had cats, had bunnies, was surrounded by dogs a lot and went to the little animal farm in my neighborhood a lot since I was little).

During my work in several cafés and restaurants over the years, I developed a lot of 'people skills' and am able to keep calm during stressful and busy times and to handle quickly when problems occur.

I am also creative, enthousiastic and always eager to learn more about skills I haven't yet developed!
