Description
Olá tudo bem?
Nice to meet you :) I think the best way to start is by telling you a bit about myself.
My name is Vicente, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Lisbon, Portugal. I’m currently doing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology (which I expect to complete by September) that probably explains why I’m so curious about people and how we connect with each other.
But honestly, what really shaped me wasn’t just university, it was everything outside of it. My friends, family, traveling, volunteering, working in different environments, and meeting people from completely different backgrounds. That’s where I feel I’ve learned the most.
I’ve had the opportunity to do an Erasmus experience in Zaragoza, volunteer through Workaway in Spain, and be involved in festivals like GOAT Festival and Boom Festival, mainly in hospitality and guest services. These experiences pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me how to adapt quickly, communicate with all kinds of people, and stay calm even in more intense or unpredictable situations.
If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m a very communicative, open and easygoing person. I’m usually smiling, I enjoy good conversations, and I naturally try to make people feel comfortable around me. I really value connection, not just small talk, but actually understanding who people are.
That’s something I’ve been developing not only through my experiences, but also in my current clinical internship, where I work directly with children and adolescents as a therapist. In this role, I support young people in developing emotional and social skills, both through group activities and individual sessions. It’s been a very meaningful experience that has strengthened my empathy, communication, and ability to handle different situations with care and patience.
I also have a driving license, which I know can be useful in many projects. As I’m finishing my studies this September, I decided to take this moment to step out of my routine and go on a solo backpacking trip through South America, while getting involved in different projects along the way.
At the end of the day, I’m someone who enjoys learning, helping, and being around people. I’m always open to new experiences, new perspectives and new challenges.
Looking forward to meeting you! :)

I really believe communication is one of the most important things when connecting with others. I actually realized how important it is during my first Workaway experience, where I had to connect with people from different countries and backgrounds. Speaking different languages has allowed me to understand different ways of thinking and expressing emotions. My Erasmus experience in Spain helped me become fluent in Spanish, and through festivals and volunteering I’ve improved my English a lot as well. I enjoy learning languages natural. through conversation, shared experiences, and cultural exchange. I’m always open to improving or even learning new ones along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
1. Hospitality & Working with People
I have experience working in hospitality, especially in festival environments like Boom Festival 2025 and GOAT Festival (2024 and 2025), mainly in glamping and guest services. I’ve done check-ins, supported guests, handled requests, and worked closely with teams to make sure everything runs smoothly. These environments can be intense, but I actually enjoy that energy meeting people from everywhere and making sure they feel welcome. My psychology background helps a lot here, because I’m very patient and aware of different personalities and situations.
2. Working with Children & Group Dynamics
I’m a certified Holiday Camp Monitor and have worked with children for several years in sports programs and inclusive environments. I’ve worked with kids of different ages, including children with special needs, which helped me develop patience, responsibility and adaptability. At the moment, I’m also completing a clinical psychology internship where I work directly with children and adolescents. In this role, I support their emotional and social development through both group activities and individual sessions.
3. Animals, Nature & Hands-on Work
During my Workaway experience in Spain, I volunteered in a Dog Rehabilitation Center where I helped with animal care, daily tasks, and general maintenance. I’m comfortable with physical work and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I actually enjoy practical tasks and being outdoors. I also grew up with animals (2 cats and a dog), so being around them feels very natural to me.
4. Leadership, Sports & Organization
I’m a huge sports enthusiast and I live for an active lifestyle. I go to the gym regularly, play football, and I’ve recently started playing padel. Eating healthy is also a big part of my routine to keep my energy levels up. On the management side, I’ve been running my own amateur football team for 6 years in the Liga Allstars (a major amateur football league in Portugal). This year, I took it a step further and started working officially for the league as a sports writer and match coordinator handling everything from match analysis to the logistics behind the games.
5. Adaptability, Communication & Emotional Intelligence
These are probably my strongest qualities.Through all my experiences volunteering, traveling, working and studying psychology I’ve learned how to adapt quickly, deal with unexpected situations, and communicate effectively with different types of people. I’ve also completed practitioner courses in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Therapy, which helped me further develop my communication skills and understanding of human behavior.

Autres infos...
I like environments where there’s a good balance between work, connection and fun. I’m easy to get along with, respectful, and always willing to help wherever needed.
For me, these experiences are not just about traveling they’re about growing, sharing, and creating meaningful memories with the people I meet along the way.
