Dear Host Family,

My name is Valeria, I live in the Canary Islands (I am originally from Romania and have lived in Italy for over 20 years), and I am excited about the possibility of being part of your family for up to a month. I would like to share a bit about myself and explain why I want to embark on this adventure and why I believe I would be an excellent addition to your home.

I have a wonderful family—I am deeply in love with my husband, my 20-year-old daughter, and our two dogs. I love children, spending time with them, learning from their curiosity and creativity, and contributing positively to their development. I also have a special interest in cooking. My husband is Italian, so at home, we enjoy a rich variety of Mediterranean foods, and I would love to share these delights with your family. I am also open to working not only with children but also with animals or any other types of tasks.

The main reason I want to undertake this experience is to learn German. I believe that cultural immersion is the best way to master a language, and that is why I am looking for an opportunity that allows me to attend a German course for a couple of hours a day while immersing myself in the daily life of a German family.

Due to work commitments, I can only commit to a maximum of one month, but I am confident that this time will be enough to make a positive impact on your family and to carry with me valuable memories and lessons.

I believe you should host me because I am a responsible, caring person with great adaptability. I have previous experience in childcare and always strive to make children feel happy and safe. Additionally, my passion for cooking could be a great asset to your household; I can prepare delicious meals that both children and adults will enjoy.

My skills and enthusiasm for learning and contributing make me a strong candidate for this position. I am committed to offering my full support in caring for the children and/or assisting with other household tasks. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Currently, I work as Assistant Manager in an important hotel in Gran Canaria, where I have gained valuable experience in management and customer service. My goal is to improve my German intensively over three weeks in September, so I am looking for a family that can host me in a city where German courses are offered in the afternoons.
I am willing to help with family tasks in the mornings or afternoons, depending on your needs. I adore children and dogs, and it would be a pleasure to help take care of them. I believe that children and animals are the best things in the world, and I truly enjoy spending time with them.

Additionally, I love cooking and have quite a bit of experience preparing Italian, Spanish, and Romanian dishes. I would be delighted to take charge of the kitchen and share some of my favorite recipes with you.
I am also quite skilled with technology, so if there are any tech-related projects or tasks where I can assist, I would gladly help out.

Although my main goal is to learn German, I am open to any type of work experience that would be beneficial for both me and your family. I am confident that this exchange will be a wonderful opportunity for both of us.
