Description
We are two Kiwis on an adventure to see the world and discover our next purpose. Mid-2025 quit our jobs and set off to see what's out there! We've been backpacking around South America over the last few months, and we are now excited to get stuck into some volunteer work to enhance and enrich our experience.
We are passionate music lovers. Rhianna likes to DJ and also enjoys hosting music events, and Jack plays guitar and bass and was a part of a band (Cecelia's Crop) back home in NZ. Rhianna loves photography, electronic music production, dance, and painting.
Rhianna enjoys learning about social issues across different contexts and enjoys problem-solving to improve the lives of others. She believes in community and deepening connections between people who are different from one another to improve the world.
She has a goal to improve my mind-body connection. She would like to connect more with the earth and become stronger physically.
Jack loves being in the outdoors and doing physically demanding jobs. He finds a great sense of gratification after a hard day's work and being able to help wherever he can. He enjoys communal living and being part of something bigger than himself.
As a lifelong learner, he wants to learn as many new skills as he can, especially hands-on skills. He also wants to improve his Spanish and Portuguese (Brazilian) language skills to further immerse himself in new cultures and other ways of living.
We would like to find an opportunity to give back to this land that has provided for us so far, as we have been travelling.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Rhianna has been working as a Social Worker for the past 5 years, including some of that time as a Team Leader, which helped her develop my leadership, advocacy, problem-solving and computer skills.
She is a DJ and is passionate about organising creative events which build community and inspire people.
She likes to paint and would be interested in painting a mural. She's painted large signs, and this feels like the next step.
She really enjoys cooking and bringing together flavours of different cuisines. Her cooking style has been described as creative and resourceful.
Jack has been working as an Electrician for over 10 years in New Zealand and is skilled at using many construction tools and methods. He is patient, practical, headstrong, and eager to learn, teach, and lead if need be.
He grew up on a small farm and has experience in tree felling, wood chopping, handling animals, planting and harvesting crops, and manual labour. Jack has also worked on his own vehicles, doing maintenance and minor repairs.
He has played guitar, bass, Ukulele, and sung since he was young. He is always keen to share his knowledge, music from New Zealand, and learn new styles of music and instruments.
