Hi there! I'm TJ, a 23-year-old Finnish biology student currently living in the Netherlands. I'm studying ecology at the University of Groningen and I'm passionate about the natural world, especially anything related to wildlife, conservation, and the ocean.

In my free time, I love doing art, going rock climbing, and scuba diving whenever I get the chance. I’m curious, easygoing, and enjoy learning new skills, especially if it involves nature, creativity, or meeting people from different walks of life.

This summer, I’m looking for a Workaway stay of 1–2 weeks, ideally somewhere that has a mix of hands-on tasks, nature, and community vibes. I’ll be traveling with my friend Dyana (you can spot her in a few of my profile photos). We’re both open-minded, respectful, and happy to help wherever needed.

It could be helping in the garden, doing creative projects, building something, or just daily chores, I’m excited to be part of it, contribute, and learn along the way.

I have some knowledge about sewing (i've sewn some basic clothing items for myself) and a little bit about gardening and DIY projects (I built a communal garden with a local elementary school etc.)

– Comfortable with physical work (gardening, lifting, cleaning, basic construction help)
– Creative: making signs, helping with decorations etc.
– Basic DIY and tools
– Good with animals and nature-related tasks
– Open to learning and helping however needed
