Hi there. My name is Tom.
I´m 53 years young Czech man with 2 grown up kids and one traveler nut of a wife.
During my life I´ve traveled many countries and continents, but I´m not a typical tourist sort of type.
When I was in England I lived there with a family of 4, taking care of 2 kids. When I spent time in US I worked there for a summer camp as a driver and all around maintanance person. When we later stayed in China (already with 2 kids) I was working there for my european employer. The same case was it then in India. What I want to say by all this is that when I travel I love to connect that with some kind of real work. To feel the interaction with local people and gain the bits and pieces of their way of life.
What motivates me is a visible / physical result comming out from my work.
We (me and my wife) are also sport and fun loving animals. We need hiking, cycling, skiing, snowboarding and especially surfing to be really happy. We love cooking good food, drink good drinks and meet good people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have 2 titles - Mgr. in physical education and sport management, and classic US MBA programme.
But after 25 years of working for a giant corporation I´ve cut myself off it and lately prefer handcruft over the brain job :-)

I grew up in village in the mountains. Father is a forrest egineer. We had a little household always with garden, dogs, hens, horses around. So I learned most of what I know already as a kid.
I enjoy working outside - in fresh air, in the garden, where I´m able to do all kind of job and I´m not scared to learn new ones if needed.
I love to work with wood - give me the right tool and I will produce whatever you need out of wood.
I´ve built 3 houses in my life - for sure not completally just alone :-), bud I would say I´m quite skilled in doing what is needed inside the house as well.
