Description
Hi! I’m Tom from Paris, a creative and hands-on person with a curious spirit and a love for human connection.
I recently finished my engineering studies, and before starting the next chapter of life, I'm looking for an experience that allow me to explore different ways of living, learn new things, and meet inspiring people.
I’ve always loved building and creating. I play in a rock band and enjoy tinkering with electric guitars : modifying and repairing them has become one of my favorite pastimes. I’m very comfortable with manual work, whether it’s DIY, construction, or anything that keeps my hands busy. I had the chance to take part in a humanitarian construction project in Morocco for a month, confirmed how much I enjoy working as part of a team, especially for a good cause.
I’m fluent in English (and French of course), and I also studied Spanish as a second language. I’d love to spend time in a Spanish-speaking environment to keep practicing and improve my fluency. I believe language is such a powerful way to connect with people.
Although I didn’t grow up with animals, I love being around them and working in nature. I’m comfortable with animals and not afraid of hard, physical tasks especially if it’s part of a shared project. I’m motivated by the idea of contributing to something bigger than myself, learning from others, and sharing stories, meals, and moments along the way.
I see Workaway as the perfect way to step outside of my comfort zone, try new things, and grow. I’m always open to adventure, and I try to bring a positive, respectful, and thoughtful attitude wherever I go.
Looking forward to the road ahead, and to hopefully crossing paths with you !Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I'm a hands-on and creative person with experience in both technical and artistic areas. I’m very comfortable with manual labor and enjoy DIY projects. I’ve worked on modifying and repairing electric guitars, and I have good knowledge of tools and basic construction. I also participated in a one-month humanitarian building project in Morocco, which gave me practical skills in teamwork, construction, and adaptability in a new environment.
Having recently graduated from an engineering school, I bring analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to tasks. I’m also a band musician, so I’m comfortable with collaborative and creative work.Âge

Autres infos...
Beyond my love for hands-on projects and outdoor work, I’m also passionate about music and board games.
I play in a rock band and enjoy composing music in my free time. Whether it’s creating riffs, arranging songs, or experimenting with sound design, music is a big part of how I express myself. If you're a musician or have instruments around, I’d love to jam, collaborate, or even help organize musical activities or performances.
I’m also a huge fan of board games—both casual and strategic ones. I enjoy everything from relaxed social games to deeper, more competitive ones. I’d be happy to share this hobby with other volunteers or hosts and can even bring a small collection of games if needed! It's a great way to connect, laugh, and unwind after a work day.
In general, I’m very open-minded, curious about different lifestyles, and always looking to share and learn new skills, stories, and experiences. Whether it's over a game, a meal, or a music session, I value the human side of every adventure.Informations complémentaires
