Hi, I'm Timo, 27 years old. I was born and raised in Colombia, where I grew up with my Colombian mother and German father.

For the past ten years, I’ve been living in Germany, where I studied automotive engineering. After spending so much time in an academic environment in a developed country, I’ve realized that I want to explore new cultures, live in different countries, and gain authentic life experiences.

Having grown up in the mountains of northern Colombia, I feel deeply connected to nature, the countryside, and remote places. I love nature, playing music on my guitar, learning languages, and enjoying all kinds of sports and games.

For me, traveling is above all about cultural exchange. I always look forward to immersing myself in new cultures — learning about their customs, traditions, and languages.

I feel about languages the same way I feel about solving a riddle — once I start, I want to see it through until I fully understand and feel comfortable using it. Every time I learn something new, I feel genuine joy and motivation to keep going. That’s why I really enjoy learning new languages, and I’m confident that I could also teach them if needed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a naturally curious person who enjoys learning about all kinds of subjects, which helps me stay enthusiastic and motivated in any activity I take on. I enjoy working with people of all ages and especially like spending time with children.

With a background in engineering, I have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of mathematics and physics. At the same time, I’m passionate about languages — I love learning them and feel confident teaching what I know to others.

I also enjoy practical, hands-on work such as gardening, building, or repairing things, whether it’s with wood, bricks, or other materials. I’m a confident and responsible driver, holding both car and motorcycle licenses.
