I am new to the site and have never done a workaway before, but since i dont like extended vacations where i cant work, it seems perfect for me.
In the Netherlands i work at a tree nursery, and i aspire to go into the business of plant breeding in the future. I just finished my first education, and before i start studying to become a plant breeder i want to travel and see the world. Im very curious to see how other parts of the world practice their agriculture. I also enjoy traveling and seeing different cultures, normally i go on a touristic vacation for this, but now i want to see a distant country in a different method, because i believe that when you work in a country and live with the local people, you get to experience their culture in a more personal way than when you're a tourist. To experience the world in this different way i preferably want to travel to Asia, especially Nepal, it seems like a country with a wholesome culture, kind people and beautiful nature.
I tend to be a very calm and quiet person, usually i am relaxed and dont easily get upset or emotional, but am always reliable and responsible. I enjoy working with my hands and i absolutely love everything about biology and agriculture, and when i can work with these things i tend to be a motivated and hard working person. In the Netherlands i spend much of my free time playing chess, reading, playing card games and hanging out with friends, climbing, working out, and of course listening to good music and watching movies.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I work at a tree nursery in the Netherlands, and have finished a education to work here. So i have a lot of interest and passion for biology and agriculture. In my free time i enjoy studying about the fysiology of plants, animals and the way our soil is composed. I dont have much experience or knowledge in these fields in different countries than the Netherlands, but i think it will be valueable for me to get to know more about this, and so i am very motivated to learn! Its not much, but i also know a few things about computers. I also have the basic life skills of cooking, fixing small things, cleaning, teaching.
I am a fluent speaker of the Dutch and English languages, and would love to learn a new language.
