Hi everyone! We are Lisa and Matteo and we cannot wait to meet you!

Traveling has always been our passion but now became also our mission!
We never liked being just tourists, we love to immerse in the culture and share with the locals, because this is when you learn the most from people.
In the past 2 years we basically just traveled in search of what we really wanted from life. Before these 2 year of traveling we both worked in the pharmaceutical industry in The Netherlands for two years, as we both are biotechnologist.
During these two years, of travelling, we made a lot of experiences. We did the Santiago's Way entirely, we went in a Dog hotel for a month in Spain for volunteering. We did a workaway experience in Slovenia at a biological farm. We also stayed 3 months in Sicily to help out in an education center that is starting after some decades of being closed, where we created some science educational mini workshops for kids and generally spent time with kids trying to teach them something valuable.
In this time Lisa realized that she wants to pursue this as her career as she is now currently studying a new Bachelor degree in Education sciences. Matteo is thinking deeply what path to choose, but at the moment is doing some course and certificates in cyber security and later we will see, he would love to study psychology but is is something for the future!

At the moment we are in Thailand and we plan to find a beautiful workaway in Cambodia for the month of April 2025!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Hi we are Matteo and Lisa, both Italian and 26!

We both studied Biotechnology at the university and worked for 3 years in pharmaceutical multinational companies. We lived abroad in the Netherlands for two years and in 2023 we quit our jobs and started traveling as a break to discover ourselves.

We already did a volunteering experience in a Dog hotel in Spain, in a farm in Slovenia and in an educational center in Sicily.

Matteo, or Teo as you like, is really easygoing a real chatter. He worked as a barman during his studies. He also did tutoring for kids in middle school. He really likes computer and technology. At the moment he is doing cyber security certificates and would love to start a degree in psychology in the next year..

Lisa loves connecting with culture from all over the world. She worked as waitress for 4 years during the studies and she volunteered for many years in summer camps, working with children from 5 years and up. She also tutored kids of different age. Her real passion is staying in contact with animals and nature. She loves also to draw and paint when she is in her artistic mood. She loves education in general and she is really passionate that is why she started university again and now she is studying Education Sciences

During many travels and job experiences we learnt organization and planning skills that could be useful in any situation and we are also very adaptable.

One last thing ...We love to cook!
