Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Taihua, and helping you in the kitchen, garden, and taking care of animals brings me happiness! I am tidy, helpful, and positive. I like traveling, cooking, watching movies, and talking. What motivates me is diversity of food in the world and think about how to eat responsibly and live sustainably. I studied master in new food thinking at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy and graduated nowadays. Before going there, I was a literature book editor in Beijing. I am passionate about different food cultures, culinary arts, specialty coffee sustainability, organic farming, etc. I developed expertise in cooking, food education, and communication. I’m gonna stay in Australia, and would love to explore more here’s culture, go for walks, talk, and learn from hosts, read your remarkable books, use your kitchen, and bond with the animals. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m good at cooking(Chinese food, Italian food, Japanese food, Thai food), brewing coffee, storytelling, social media, photography, and videography. I also have experience being in charge of a culinary program on my own. During my studies in Italy, I initiated a project to cook Chinese food with local Italian food, and I was responsible for writing the menu, making posters, purchasing the ingredients, and cooking and delivering the food myself.

I majored in Chinese linguistics and literature in 2014~2018. Then I worked for four years as a literary book editor and book promoter. From 2022 to 2023, I studied the master's program New Food Thinking at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy, focusing on the relationships among food and creativity, art, and education.
