Hello! My name is Lucie, I’m 35 years old and I come from western France. I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and sharing simple moments with people.
I grew up on a family farm where we raised chickens, geese, turkeys, and beef cattle.
I also had the chance to study for one year in Norway. After finishing my studies, I started working in France and have been there ever since.

But traveling has always been a big part of me, and now I feel the need to explore again — so I start a Working Holiday adventure!

I landed in St John's NL on May 10th 2026 and I'm crossing Canada from East to West using Workaway. Why ? Because I want to live with Canadians, experience daily life, and really immerse myself in the local culture. I’m curious, open-minded, and happy to help with all kinds of tasks.

Here is my program, feel free to contact me if I'm in your area when you need help.

-MAY : St john’s and Twillingate
-JUNE : Gros Morne
-JULY : Cap Breton, Halifax, Bay of Fundy
-Beg of AUGUST : Gaspesie
-End of AUGUST : Quebec area and Tadoussac,
-SEPTEMBER : Montreal area
-OCTOBER : Toronto area

Then I need to figure it out. It will depends on where I found place to help for the winter.
I hope to work in sled dog and ski resort
and then help for the maple season.

The Rockies, Vancouver Island, and maybe the Yukon or Churchill will be probably in 2027. But that could change, depending on opportunities and the people I meet along the way. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For the past 7 years, I have been working in a leisure park in France (www.lorbiere.fr) where I take care of:
-Booking management for treehouses, floating cabins, a gîte and a reception hall (customer requests, quotes, invoicing…)
-Welcoming guests on site
-Cleaning and preparing accommodations
-Communication on social media, radio, and local press

This experience has taught me to be flexible, responsible, and comfortable with both teamwork and practical tasks.

I grew up on a farm. My parents were farmers, and now my brother has taken over the business. Always ready to help them.
