  Description

  My friends and I need assistance with our house and gardens from time-to-time. Our gardens are beautiful, organic and productive and we also contribute to our community garden and bush-care site. We need people who are happy to do some painting, and some simple construction and landscaping. You don't to need any experience to help us because we are are happy to show you what we need done.

  Lamb Island is an island located in Moreton Bay, two hours travel from the city of Brisbane. We are considered remote because residents and visitors can only access the island by water (ferry or barge). Travellers can enjoy a quiet, natural environment whilst accessing all the amenities of one of Australia's largest cities.

  A range of gardening and property maintenance tasks, nothing specific skills, things like painting walls and outdoor areas, in our personal spaces and in the larger community spaces. No particular skills needed, guidance provided.

  Independent accommodation includes a double bedroom, bathroom/laundry and kitchen facilities in a private garden setting. The kitchen includes fridge, microwave, oven and hotplates. This host prefers that guests prepare their own meals however food may be provided by arrangement. The furnishings are simple and comfortable and WIFI is available.

  The Lamb Island community is part of a larger Southern Moreton Bay Community. The two larger islands of Macleay and Russel provide supermarkets, coffee shops, liquor outlets, and recreational activities such as library, markets, walking, kayaking, birdwatching, recreation club, yoga, tai chi and martial arts, tennis, craft activities, community gardening, choir and other music groups or quiet solitude.
