Description
Hello there!! 😺
My name is Stéphanie and I come from France.
When I get the opportunity I grab my bag pack and I sneak out of my country to volunteer overseas wherever nice projects can take me.
I did my first volunteering in 2017 and it was such an AMAZING 3 month experience!!I worked with an Italian shepherd and a mob of 17 goats in the mountains, simple life, basic confort, wildlife…No words to describe it, kind of a revelation 💘💘💘
It may sound cliché but where I feel in the right place on Earth is when I'm surrounded by nature, living a simple life and rolling up my sleeves. So I turned into a serial volunteer ahahah 🤣🤣
I spent a year in Australia where I worked and volunteered on organic farms through Wwoofing (veggies, essential oils and a sheep farm) and loved it so much!! I also worked for accomodation doing housekeeping in a hostel and a cabin resort in the Daintree rainforest.
Last year I travelled for 6 months in Europe and helped on a boat in Spain and in a dogs shelter in Greece for 2 months. Looooove dogs and cats and all the animals so a big piece of my heart belongs to them.
Last winter I spent 2 months volunteering in the Lofoten, Norway, at an incredible, magical, fairy tale hostel.
Well my trips and my volunteering have been so fulfilling -in some aspects more than most of my regular jobs- that I want to keep on that track. So many special people, ways of living and thinking, philosophy and meaningful projects that inspired me a lot. Things that I unfortunately don't get to know in my daily city life.
So to make it short I would like to help places where I can get close to nature, learn anything and everything!! And why not to share what I’ve already learned (farming, teaching languages, animal care, hospitality skills…). As I consider myself a hard worker chameleon I'm happy to adapt to what the jobs require; getting dirty, handling strong smells or working at dawn for example are not downsides to me but oddly enough give me joy!!
So looking forward to do it again!!
Xoxoxo

I think I’ve got a good sense of humour (not humble but not kidding either!)
Nature is my drug so I try to escape from big cities as much as possible
I cherish isolated places where I can hike, watch sunrises, sunsets, stars, the moon, the wildlife
Love diving (advanced water certification)
I lived for 4 years in Spain waitressing in restaurants, it was a lot of fun
