Hi! I’m Sofia, I’m 21 years old and I live in Milan, Italy.
I’m currently studying Medicine and Surgery at university, and one day I hope to become a pediatrician — I think children are the most wonderful part of our society, and I’d love to help them when they’re going through tough times.

One of my biggest dreams is to work for a while in hospitals in poorer areas of the world, where even basic healthcare is hard to access. I would love to bring a little comfort, relief, and joy to kids in need — even just by making them smile.

Right now, I’m looking for a volunteering experience in a community of children, where I can be helpful as an educator, in sports activities, or simply as a big sister and friend to play with. I’m a cheerful, curious and responsible person, and I’m open to learning and giving my best to support the project.

I also have a deep love for exploring the world and immersing myself in different cultures. I’ve traveled across most of Europe, visited South Africa, Morocco, New York, and Canada — and I can’t wait to keep discovering new places and perspectives!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m very good at entertaining and teaching children. In Italy, I regularly help students who struggle at school by giving them tutoring and support with homework. I’m patient, encouraging and I really enjoy helping others learn and feel confident.
Also, I’ve been playing volleyball for over 10 years and I absolutely love sports and active, creative games. I’m full of energy and always happy to get involved in outdoor activities, team games, or anything that keeps kids engaged and smiling.
On top of that, I love music! I play the clarinet and, if needed, I’d be very happy to share music with the children — whether it’s playing, singing together, or helping them discover music in fun and simple ways.
