  Description

  We are a small family-run hostel located right by the ocean in Punta Burica, Chiriquí, Panama.
  Surrounded by pure nature, you can spot different kinds of monkeys, release baby turtles, explore beautiful trails, and enjoy exotic birdwatching.
  Expect stunning sunsets and a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.
  We are a family of three, happy to share our simple seaside life with travelers from around the world.
  When guests arrive at the hostel, sometimes a local girl from the village gives me a hand preparing the rooms, only when it’s needed.

  I’m Panamanian and my husband Joey is from Florida, USA. He have been living in Panama for over 20 years. We live in a small rural community where life is still simple and connected to nature.
  
  Staying with us is a great chance to experience real local life and culture. You’ll get to learn about Panama’s traditions, food, and language, and see how people live off the land. At the same time, we love learning from our volunteers , everyone brings something different to share! It’s a relaxed place where we exchange stories, ideas, and good vibes.

  Join the adventure at Punta Burica
  We’re looking for responsible easygoing, and motivated people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty and love working outdoors.
  Tasks include painting, cleaning the garden, building animal enclosures, creating trails, fixing the road, and helping with different projects around the property.
  
  If you love nature, the ocean, animals, and stunning sunsets, this is the place for you.
  Every day here is a new experience a chance to learn, share, and enjoy a simple and authentic life in Panama

  We offer a simple but cozy room with private bathroom.
  We run by solar power, surrounded by nature and the ocean, it’s a rustic but truly special experience.
  There’s a shared kitchen where you can cook your own meals, and we’ll provide a small supply of basic groceries for the week.
  It’s the perfect spot if you enjoy simple living, being close to nature, and disconnecting from the noise of the world

  In your free time, you can go hiking, explore the point, go fishing, or simply relax by the ocean.
  To get here, you’ll need to take two buses from David and we can pick you up in town (Bella Vista) once you arrive.
  If you’d like to visit the town from the hostel, you can walk there and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
  Transportation is by local bus, a great way to experience the area and meet the local people.
