Description

Hello! We are Skevi and Prem, two travellers who met in India. We think we would make a great Workaway duo!

About Skevi:
I am a 30 year old teacher and artist from London. I love music, art and travelling! I have lived in Tanzania and Australia, volunteering and teaching.
Something that makes me the happiest is being in nature, watching sunsets, swimming, music, creating art, travelling and learning about different cultures!
I am focusing on self improvement, my faith, creating artwork and learning new skills! I absolutely love meeting new people , immersing myself into different cultures and I can't wait for all the opportunities ahead!

About Prem:
I am 39 years old natural farmer from India.
I love travelling, music. I can build things using bamboo's and waste woods, I've travelled some south East Asian countries. I have 7 years of experience in traditional natural farming which I practice in my two farms in southern India (Tamilnadu and Kerala).
I can cook some good South Indian dishes. I am focusing on traditional way of living and learning about different cultures around the world. I follow my heart and want to live a peaceful life and spread love.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a very artistic and creative person with a foundation diploma in art and design and a BA(hons) in Visual Communication. I have photography experience and I am able to teach photography and photoshop on my laptop and graphics pad. I am a qualified secondary school Art Teacher.

I have a TEFL certificate and experience teaching English as a Foreign Language. I also speak a little Greek (Cypriot).

I have experience painting murals (I have painted a mural at Hampangala Secondary School in Tanzania whilst living and volunteering there).

I am a keen cook, can clean, do basic jobs around the house/ farm/ gardening - I am not afraid to get my hands dirty!

As I am a teacher, I have a valid DBS check - I am great with kids and I have a niece and nephew (aged 1 and 3). Im willing to teach art/ read books and do some arts and crafts activities with children.

I'm very active and have lots of energy - always willing to learn new things and skills!
