Hi there! 👋

I’m a 34-year-old from Austria, currently traveling through Colombia and looking for a place to stay and help near Bogotá (200Km).
I’d love to join a project where I can learn, contribute, and experience authentic daily life.

I’m curious, grounded, and open-minded. People often describe me as easy to get along with – someone who enjoys deep conversations, but also values quiet moments and independence.

While I’m not a trained builder or farmer, I’m not afraid of hard work. I enjoy tasks that involve moving, creating, or being outside – and I’m always ready to get my hands dirty.

I'm especially interested in sustainability, local food, and simple living. I see Workaway as a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet kind people, and give something back during my travels.

🌱 Gardening & working with plants
I love spending time outdoors and have grown some vegetables and herbs at home. There's nothing more rewarding than preparing and eating food you've grown yourself! I'm happy to help with planting, watering, weeding, harvesting – whatever is needed.

🐾 Animal care (basic level)
I don’t have much experience with animals, just a bit from looking after cats and dogs for friends. But I'm calm, respectful, and not afraid of animals – I'm happy to learn and support wherever possible.

🍳 Cooking
I really enjoy preparing meals and spending time in the kitchen. I’m flexible and open to many kinds of food. I especially enjoy cooking for others and would love to share or learn new recipes.

🧼 Housework & cleaning
Helping with cleaning, laundry, dishes or organizing spaces is totally fine for me. I take pride in being neat and helpful in shared environments.

🔨 Beginner manual tasks
I don’t have any building or handwork experience (yet), but I’m interested and happy to learn if someone shows me what to do. I enjoy learning by doing and am not afraid to try new things.

🗣️ Language exchange
I’d be happy to help you practice German or English if you’re learning one of those.

I’m currently available and ready to start helping within 1–2 weeks. I’m hoping to stay at least 3-4 weeks (or longer, if it’s a good match).

I truly enjoy being part of a shared daily rhythm – whether it’s feeding animals, preparing meals together, or just exchanging stories over coffee. I’m also quite independent and don’t mind working on my own when needed.

I’m especially drawn to projects that are close to nature or that support a more sustainable and mindful lifestyle.

In return, I’ll bring motivation, reliability, a positive attitude – and maybe even some Austrian recipes to share. 😄
