I am from Scotland and currently travelling in New Zealand. I want to see and experience as much of this country as possible, it's an adventure playground! I am a veterinary nurse, so very happy working with animals. I also enjoy gardening and am good at problem solving. Happy to muck in with most domestic chores, and can usually pull together an edible meal!

Excellent workawayer! Shona house-sat for us while we were away for a couple of nights. She was very easy to have around. Keen to learn and understand our business and lifestyle. We had many interesting discussions. Her skills, knowledge and experience as a vet nurse came in handy in trying to diagnose if our dog was in pup! All the best!

I had such an awesome week! I learned so much about farming in NZ and got to spend lots of time out on the farm working with the sheep and driving the quad, which I just love. I had a very relaxed and varied week staying with Marion and Henk. They were such a welcoming and lovely couple and we had some great conversations learning about each other's culture. Marion made delicious food and lots of it!
I had the best time helping shear the alpacas, such interesting animals!

I had a great time staying in Mike and Vinces beautiful house, gardening in the very large garden! Great hosts, great food and great advice on where to visit in my free time. Helpful and friendly, this was the perfect first workaway for me.
