Hello Workaway community!

I am currently in Lisbon, Portugal as a semi-traveller, semi-digital nomad.

I was living in London for 5 years having moved from Australia, and came to Portugal to look for my next adventure. I loved London as an international city and so much to do, as well as being close to Europe. I think these characteristic drew me to Lisbon but I'm finding my place to land, per say.

While I'm trying to figure it out, I thought I'd try a few different experiences for this fluid time in my life. I'd like to explore some ideas that I've been curious about (and lived through YouTube videos) and try on new identities. This includes helping on retreats, agri-farming, gardening, tiny houses, sustainability, DIY. Recently, I completed my human design profile which said my ideal environment is mountains, so I'm looking to mountains also!

In exchange, I'd love to offer my current skills and interests.
- I'm a UX designer so I think of how humans interact with experiences and how to align these with emotions and goals. If you have a business, I'd be happy to help on your digital products or looking into your offerings
- I'm a cook and a very competent sous-chef. I love cooking and the rhythm, and meditation of it. I'll bring recipes but not quite at the level of mastery and I'm always happy to help in a kitchen
- I love maintaining tidy spaces and something even add an interior design flair! This is also my love for aesthetics and creating flow and nice energy
- I have a history of customer service, so any kind of front-of-house, people-facing I'm very comfortable in as I was in events, volunteer manager and in retail
- I also enjoy yoga, beaches, the arts, new meandering and giving anything new a go so I'm a great companion when you need one

I'm really looking forward to finding out some new things about myself and about the way people are in the world. I hope I can learn from you and through you.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a user experience designer so I think a lot about how a person thinks and feels going through and experience. I like to bring together sense and delight.

I’ve worked in marketing/advertising and website/app product in this role.

I’ve also worked a lot of customers facing roles.

At home, I like being clean and tidy. I am a sucker for tidying a Tupperware drawer. and I have a penchant for aesthetically.

I like getting stuck in to physical tasks and not afraid to get my hands dirty
