Hi there!
We’re a friendly and adaptable couple from the Netherlands, looking for a place where we can learn new skills, be of use, and immerse ourselves in the Aussie way of working and living.
We are currently traveling through WA with our 4WD and rooftop tent, enriching ourselves with all the wonderful things this land and its people have to offer. We love the culture and spending time outdoors. Additionally, we are inspired by how people here harmoniously integrate their work or way of living with the landscape, rather than simply using or working against it. We would love to learn more from homesteads or farms that work with the land in an eco-friendly or even regenerative way.
Furthermore, we are both fit and love being physically active (running, surfing, biking, cross-training, etc.). In general, we enjoy hanging out with others, playing games, watching movies or just fooling around. However, we do appreciate having some quality alone-time once in a while. We also aim to maintain a conscious and balanced lifestyle. This means that we have some funky practices in our daily routines. Not only to live healthily physically, but also mentally. We always love to chat about these subjects.

We are a friendly, positive and adaptable couple excited to share our skills and learn new things through Workaway experiences. We’re quick learners who never shy away from new challenges. We like the motto: "I've never tried that before, so I definitely think I can do it!" With diverse backgrounds and a wide range of practical skills, here’s what we can bring to the table:
Gardening & Landscaping:
We enjoy working outdoors and have hands-on experience with basic gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and general landscape maintenance.
DIY & Maintenance:
We have basic experience with tools and are eager to help with painting, light repairs, and general maintenance tasks. We love problem-solving and don’t shy away from "less glamorous" jobs—sometimes, you just have to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
Hospitality & Housekeeping:
With work experience in hospitality and customer-focused environments, we’re used to keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.
Animal Care:
We’re both animal lovers who grew up with dogs, and we have experience with pet sitting, feeding, walking, and caring for a variety of animals, including cats, birds, and small farm animals.
Cooking & Kitchen Help:
Comfortable in the kitchen, we enjoy helping with meal preparation, cooking, and cleanup. We’re always up for trying new recipes.
Computer & Administrative Skills:
We’re proficient with computers, handling tasks ranging from basic to advanced, including Microsoft Office, social media, and email management. We can assist with data entry, online research, and other administrative tasks.
Our Academic and working Backgrounds:
Sem:
Graduated two years ago with an MSc in Work and Health Psychology. For the past two years, I’ve worked as a consultant and project manager in an office, focusing on increasing vitality and performance within organizations.
Demi:
Graduated six years ago in Sports Management. Since then, I’ve held various roles in the health sector, specializing in prevention and analyzing absenteeism, mostly within nursing home environments.
