Description

I am 20 years old and I live in Hamburg, Germany with my parents – together with the rescue dogs my mother takes care of.
After finishing the final exams of my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in January 2026, I want to discover the world.

Football has been part of my life from the very beginning – both as a player and as a referee.

I also have a strong interest in other cultures. I have already been to Japan twice, once on a scholarship, and I spent two months working in the USA through another scholarship. Now I want to broaden my perspective even further and explore Africa – starting with a trip along the Garden Route and deepening that experience with real insights into daily life in Africa.

I adapt very easily and settle into new environments quickly. I get along well with others, I am communicative and open to meeting new people. At home, I often work on hands-on projects together with my father, which has taught me practical skills, reliability and teamwork.

I’ve spent 10 days on David’s farm and wish I could have stayed longer. The work is very diverse and depends on what needs to be done around the farm. During my stay, I took care of the chickens, planted lots of vegetable seeds, turned the compost and helped out wherever I could.

I spent three weeks on the farm and honestly would have loved to stay even longer. The other volunteers and I were responsible for preparing food for the pigs and feeding them at 7 am and 3 pm.
