Hello, I'm Dori and I want to go out into the world. I want to find peace and quiet and finally be able to feel my connection to nature again. I would like to work outdoors using my hands, help loved ones with their harvest or even help shape sowing and cultivation beforehand. I also love animals and they love me and working with them would be a deep joy. I'm not a person who talks a lot, but I enjoy being with warm people in a familiar, authentic atmosphere. It fulfills me to see when I can be a real support to others in their everyday lives, be it in the household, when working on and around the house and on the property, or when looking after the animals and fields. Of course, I also get involved everywhere else, wherever I'm needed. My mom instilled in me and my sister craftsmanship and a feeling for efficient solutions at an early age: 3 girls in a household without a man who take care of everything themselves, that's really worth a lot! ;-)
Ultimately, I'm looking for a place of peace in the middle of nature. I want to do good, meaningful work for people who appreciate it and want to give me a room and some sense of belonging in return. I am open for the idea to end my journey at a place where I meet lovely people who would like me to stay and where I feel that I have arrived. Decelerated. Grounded. In harmony with nature. As part of a network. But to settle down anywhere is not my major thought. I simply want to get to know lovely and interesting people from different regions, learn from them and discover wonderful places in this world.
Of course there is more to say about me and I am happy to answer any questions you may ask. For example, if you want to know whether I'm familiar with Windows, Linux or Android, I'll answer: all three! ;-) If you're interested in whether I like graphic design, I say: yes, both in oil and acrylic on canvas, as well as using Corel and Affinity! ;-) If you want to know something about my relationship to music, I can only answer: yes! Plain and simple yes - music is soul, music is life, music is in everything around us and also deep within me. ;-) Please ask, i will enjoy it.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated from high school in 1999 and then studied civil engineering and mechanical engineering, but without completing them. I was able to gain deep insights and experiences into a wide variety of areas of gastronomy, ranging from service assignments at events such as Expo2000 or IAA to cooking pasta in front of guests. I trained in geriatric care and am allowed to work as a geriatric care assistant. And there are many other different topics and professional fields that I can list here, in which I have worked so far. My problem is that unfortunately I don't have a completed job and my 3 attempts to study didn't end with a certificate. I already knew while I was at school that I would like to work as an interior decorator - a profession that, in my eyes, combines everything I always wanted: no specification in just one trade, but skills in all trades that are related to the design of living space have to do. I wanted to lay tiles and floors. I wanted upholstery. I wanted to plaster and paint. I wanted to cover walls with wallpaper, fabrics and leather. I wanted to lay pipes and electricity. I wanted to have the skills to make every space on earth unique. Instead, I went to college because that's what my family expected of me. And one year followed the next without me being able to find meaning or joy in what I chose... Today I know that THAT was the biggest wrong decision of my life. I should have just done what was right for me instead of trying to meet other people's expectations!
Yes, that's the story... unfortunately I can't say this or that was my job, or that I was a state-recognized expert in any profession. I'm happy to learn what I can't or don't know yet. Maybe that’s a skill you value? I hope so..... :-)
Last but not least, I would like to mention at this point that my driving license, which is valid throughout the EU, allows me to drive vehicles up to 3.5 t, and I have been driving without an accident since then.
