I am a high school social sciences teacher very excited to be going on a year long sabbatical starting September 2026. I love nature and travel. My background is Irish, though I've never had a chance to visit before! I am hoping to do some cycling and explore the history, music, culture and countryside of Ireland. I am interested in sustainable living projects, love the outdoors, gardening, and learning new skills. Happy to do some grunt work and explore the country! I've done farm sits in the past, caring for cows, chickens, and sheep. I'm also part of a sustainable land co-op in rural Ontario and would love to improve my construction skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both physically fit. I am a good gardener, handy around the house, able to lift reasonable amounts and capable with outdoor tasks, love dogs and comfortable with animals generally. Good in the kitchen and happy to do anything from cutting trails, work around the house, farm tasks etc.. I'm not highly skilled in terms of building and what not but am the type of person that if you give me a hammer and tell me what to do I can pretty much get it done! Zain is similar but he is an ox. He has done quite a few workaways in the past including ones involving building, olive oil processing, kitchen work etc..
