Hi!
My name is Sanna. Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, I've lived abroad a couple of times and travelled a bit throughout my time in this life. It has, however, been a while since I travelled for any extensive period of time and so for my 30th birthday I decided to grant myself a year off from work to focus on dancing and travelling.

Dancing is my passion - mostly afrobeat-related dances and hiphop, but lindy hop as well! - and I thrive in most artistic environments whether it be related to music, dance or theatre (not as much the visual arts, I guess). I've been singing my whole life and play a bit of guitar, and my high school years I spent in a theatre program.

I try to combine my passion for the performing arts with my love for travelling, especially since partaking in cultural experiences such as dance and music is the best way to discover different cultures in my opinion. In just a few days as of writing this, I will be heading to Ghana for a dance experience of a lifetime.

Beyond this, things that bring be joy include pasta, wine, cats, tacos, and trying to learn Italian!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've worked the past 7 years in non-profit (with the exception of a couple of months at the Stockholm film festival!) with a wide range of tasks, from training and coordinating volunteers to writing grant applications and working with strategic development of projects and organizations. I worked at the Red Cross for 5 years and the last 2 years I've been working for a smaller organization with student associations across Sweden.

Before working in non-profit, I worked in the restaurant industry for several years and therefore have a great deal of experience working in service.

I've also worked as an English teacher in the grades 6-9, and have pretty good experience working with kids/teenagers from the ages of 12-18 (not just as a teacher but also in my career within non-profit).

Apart from this, I've always kept myself busy dancing and singing as well, and would like to think I hold some expertise within these areas too!
