Hey all!

My name is Sander, and I'm currently exploring the world! After some adventurous trips in or near my home country (the Netherlands), I am now in Colombia from January until April, before I go to Kyrgystan for 3 more months! During my time in Colombia, I really want to get to know the country and not just move along the hotspots. That is why I signed up for Workaway, I want to stay in places for longer than a few days to really connect with the place and the people, and build a genuine connection.
I think of myself as a social and open person who seeks adventure in many ways. In my free time, I like to read, be active (I like sport-related challenges), be in nature and sometimes play some guitar music. Recently, I got my first camera so I'm experimenting a lot with photography now. And of course travel! I am looking for ways to not be just a tourist looking at a country and then leaving, but getting to know the nature, culture and people, including their view on life. So in the search for a nice Workaway, I'm looking for a place where I can add something to the nature or society.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Like you've read in my profile description, I like to be in nature and outside! I studied Marine Sciences so have a slight obsession with the ocean, but my passion also extents to rivers and lakes! Ask me in real life and I'll tell you everything about it :)
My English is quite good I think and I have a very basic Spanish vocabulary, which I would really like to improve! I did some work in hospitality so know the basics of that as well. For the rest, I am curious in general and very open to learn new things!
