Hi!

We're Sam and Ellie - a couple from the North of England travelling round over 2023 and 2024!

Sam is a 27-year-old primary school teacher in Manchester, England. I live with my other half, Ellie, who I met at a summer camp in America. I LOVE teaching and working with children, but football is my lifelong passion. My teaching job gives me barely any time to myself, but when I do have spare time, I love getting outdoors, going on long walks, hikes or runs. I recently ran a half-marathon and I'm gearing up to run the big 26 miles in the near future (when I get the courage!). I am motivated by the pursuit of happiness, sharing experiences and experiencing new cultures.

Ellie is an experienced nursery manager and private nanny with years of relevant childcare and hospitality experience. She is a qualified primary school teacher. Ellie's favourite thing to do is read and spend time relaxing.

The two of us work brilliantly together as a team - we ran a 4* chalet in France for an entire Winter once.

Ellie lived with a Ecuadorian family in Spain for an entire year - as such she speaks fluent Spanish.Sam speaks conversational Spanish.Both of us speak fluent English as our native tongue and have lots of classroom experience- we would both be interested in teaching English as a foreign language, or helping people learn the language as part of an exchange.We are also very keen on learning new languages in our new environments.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Both Ellie and Sam have lots of childcare experience - including summer camps, nurseries and primary schools . Both of us are qualified teachers in the UK.

Sam is very hands-on and loves getting stuck in to new and exciting tasks - be it gardening, farm work or maintenance. Sam also has lots of retail experience and great communication skills. Sam is very active and energetic!

Ellie is a fantastic childcare specialist, with years of training and experience with babies up to teenagers. She also has great people skills and common sense. She also has hosting experience in French chalets and in local cafes.

Together, we make a great team of enthusiasm, hard work and people skills!

Both Ellie and Sam are keen readers and gamers. We love the outdoors but are also happy indoors in our own company as well. We are planning on travelling the world over the next few years and would love to meet and work with some interesting people along the way!
