Hi there,

I'm Sam an architect and designer, originally from Sydney Australia.

Fairly simple things bring me joy, things like reading, cooking, being in nature, climbing, running and getting to know people from all walks of life.

I'm motivated to always bring good energy, as well as an open and understanding mind, to the places and people I live close to. Doing things to the best of my ability is also important to me - I enjoy working hard to ensure my contributions leave places altered for the better.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Architecture & Design - My degree is in Architecture and, since 2017, I have worked as an architect. I'm able to help out with the measuring and drawing of existing spaces. I'm also happy to draw up proposed alterations and I'm of course open to thinking through solutions to any and all design problems.

Woodwork - I enjoy making furniture and architectural models, so I am familiar with a variety of woodworking tools and skills.

Cooking - Cooking for and with others is always fun and grounding. I feel comfortable in a kitchen if you need help there.

Farm work - After graduating from university in 2017, I spent 8 months on an organic farm in Northern California. I completed harvesting, field preparation, live stock care (wrangling lambs into a trailer at dusk), farmers market setup and attendance, watering, and fence construction. I enjoyed living and working on the farm immensely and would love to contribute to farm work again in the future.

Cleaning and Organizing - I find pleasure in clean and orderly spaces, so if you need a hand culling, organizing, and cleaning, I'm open to this kind of work.

  No particular dietary requirements but I do try to eat healthy minimally processed, whole food whenever possible. If someone cooks for me though, I'll always eat what I'm given with pleasure as a gesture of shared enjoyment.
