Description
Hello my name is Ruth, I'm from the UK. I am easy going, creative and practical. I enjoy physical work, couldn't think of anything worse than being cooped up in an office. I love designing and building things, especially using recycled materials. My main skill set lies in cabinet making but I really enjoy all aspects of woodwork. I also have a few years of experience in different types of green building; timber framing, earth bag building, cob, Drystone walling, lime washing. I strive to live as close as I can to nature and am use to a very basic lifestyle. I am traveling in my campervan (which has everything I need other than water and food) with my puppy Nixie (staff x boxer). The main purposes of my trip is to learn more about permaculture and also make connections with like minded people. I hope to one day have land of my own and want to experience how others have made their little slice of paradise work for them.
