  NOW LOOKING FOR LONG TERM VOLUNTEER FOR GARDENSITTING FROM JAN - MARCH 2025 *
  
  Since I am going traveling myself from January, I am now looking for a work awayer or couple that wish to help me with watering the plants in my garden, keeping my property tidy, and feeding my cats.
  
  
  HELP
  
  I am looking for someone or a couple who will help me out with maintenance of my garden, keeping the house clean, watering plants and taking a few minutes every day to feed my cats while I am away.
  
  I run a BnB, which is mainly from March - October, but there may be some guests here at the same time as you, in which case you will also share the kitchen and garden with them. There are only three rooms and you will have one of them, so at the maximum there will be two other rooms with guests, although it’s unlikely that they will be occupied during the low season. I will always be reachable even though I am away, and you can contact me using WhatsApp whenever you need to.
  
  I am asking for help with these tasks:
  
  # Watering the plants in the garden. It takes approx 2 hours once a week, depending on the weather.
  
  # Feeding the cats every evening. This takes approximately 5 minutes.
  
  There are no fixed hours (besides feeding the cats), but tasks throughout the week. The hours you need to help depend on the weather -if it rains you don’t water. You have to be flexible that way :-)
  
  Hours will be min 3 hours - max 8 hours per week.
  
  ACCOMMODATION
  
  In exchange for this help I offer you a stay in one of the BnB rooms with a private bathroom.
  
  Since it is garden sitting and I am not here, you will have to provide your own food. You can of course use my kitchen to cook but you need to keep it clean, especially when there are guests staying.
  
  I've refurbished the old train station which has now become a small house. I love travelling around the world whenever I get the chance to do so. I'm just asking for help in my home and in my private gardens and the Workawayers won't help with any product for sale to the public.

  I live in one of the most beautiful areas of Sicily and you don't need to stroll far to find stunning views and beautiful walks. Aci Castello (where I live) and Aci Trezza are two beautiful towns by the sea, one next to each other, plenty of bars and restaurants. 45 mins away by bus and you can get to the main city, Catania, full of history and traditions. the city night life it is also pretty amazing.
