Hi!
I am Rudy, 27, from Poland.
I've been to Japan 2 years ago for 1 year on a student exchange program at AGU (Tokyo) and I loved every minute of it. Now I came back on a Work&Holiday visa to live a new adventure and further improve my Japanese. Japan still feels exciting yet comfortably familiar, so if possible I would like to travel and experience totally new countries and cultures like Australia or New Zealand in 2026.
About me:
I am curious about the world, positive, open-minded person who likes to socialize, although I enjoy some me-time at the end of the day and I can be a little nerdy sometimes. I love trying new food and a good joke. I enjoy working out, horseback riding, learning languages, drawing and playing video games. I am also into animated movies and fantasy novels.
I speak English (currently preparing to take C2 exam), Japanese (N3, daily conversation), and Polish (Native).
I graduated with Master's in Informatics last year and have been working in a cybersecurity company for almost 5 years. I spent most of my time glued to the computer screen which is a good life but recently I've felt that I want something different for my self. I look for an opportunity to work partly outdoors with people, present in the moment doing more physically active labour that leaves the body tired but the mind refreshed. This vision might be partly to blame on period movies and books like Dances with Wolves, which presented a romantic view on such life (and I am so into it).
I currently work the same job in the evenings (less and flexible hours, full remote, part-time), which makes me a digital nomad i guess:) It would be great if there was wifi and sometimes some quiet to participate in two short weekly meeting. I hope that's okay.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have an experience in working in small startup -I have worked at position of Cybersecurity analyst and Compliance coordinator for total of almost 5 years.
Education-wise I am a trained coder (Python, Java, C++). I can draw and paint - Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
During the student exchange in Aoyama Gakuin Daigaku Univeristy, I've worked as a lector in English chatroom - conducting classes for other students who want to chat a little and I went to two 3-4 day English camps for junior high school also as an English moderator.
I have some experience with garden work, which I did for my parents (mowing lawns, chopping wood and trees, mowing plants, basic DIY work like assembling an Ikea shed). Also I would consider myself physically fit and able to work with heavier materials and items.
I have an international driving license and also I can ride horses (intermediate) and windsurf (intermediate).
