  Description

  Newly settled down in Werder/Havel (Brandenburg) , some 20 kilometers away from Potsdam, I live alone in an old house that has recently and completely been refixed and modernized with a huge garden of approximately 1,200m2. The house is 100m2 away from a big and beautiful lake. Potsdam is not far and Berlin approximately 40 kilometers away. There is a regional train that goes to Potsdam and Berlin every 30 minutes. There are also busses. All in all it's a really nice set up: Nature with the beautiful lake and big city life within 30 minutes train ride.
  I live here with my cat and we look forward to meeting new people.

  I speak English, German, French, some Spanish and a little bit of Hungarian. I enjoy exchanging recipes and look forward to sharing meals together. I play the guitar and piano and would think it really neat if we could maybe play something together and/or enjoy reciprocating musical moments. We can also practice language skills.

  Aide

  I essentially need help in the garden. There are lots of wild shrubs like wild black currants (very thorny) and other wild young trees and other wild and invasive plants that need to be pulled out. There is no lawn and. there is no intention to have one. Instead my vision is to make a home for insects, birds and other creatures and where plants, trees and flowers are free to grow as long as there is room for everyone. I also would like to have a vegetable plot. We can do this together but not only. I would also appeciate someone confident enough to be able to work alone at times. I am open to new ideas and thoughts. It is possible that I also may need help re-doing 2 sheds and an old garage.

  Hébergement

  There is a guest room upstairs, quiet and cozy. We share the bathroom (with bath) upstairs. We share the kitchen and bathroom (with shower) downstairs too.
  We can share meals or if preferred we adopt according to needs and desires. I like flexibility. This is a vegetarian house except for my cat who gets meat.

  Autres infos...

  As far as house rules go: no smoking. Keep kitchen and bathrooms clean after using. I will need time on my own but enjoy company too, like working together in the garden. It is very important to me that my cat stays part of the picture .
