Heey!

My name is Rowena, I am 18 years old and I come from Breda, the Netherlands.

I'm currently doing a gap year and my dream is to explore other parts of the world. I think there is soo much to see and learn in other countries.

I'm fascinated by stunning nature, new cultures and the beautful little things in life. What can I say? You only live once ✨

In my free time I like going out with people, living little adventures (like swimming in the sea, going on hikes or discovering new places) and I'm getting into reading. My personal goals are currently learning about photography, painting and improving my cooking.

I'm excited to start Workaway and to meet new people, get to know their stories and passions, because I think we can all learn from eachother :).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've been working in a bar/restaurant for two years. I welcomed the guests, waited tables, made drinks, etc.

When I graduated high school, I wanted to see more of the world and decided to go to Greece for 6 months. There I've been volunteering in a sea town. I'm helping in a Youth Center, where I am mainly occupied with playing with the children and organising acitivites. They're aged between 5 and 11.

I think both jobs fit my personality, because I'm a person filled with energy. I love being social and outgoing.

With doing Workaway I would love to discover skills that I find interesting but never explored yet and improve skills that I already have: such as cooking, photography and social skills.
