Description
Hailing from Pembrokeshire, Wales, I have always felt at home by the sea and immersed in the the outdoors. I have been lucky enough to travel a fair few corners of the world and have a few years under my belt of being settled and working full time.

I am keen to stay on home soil and get to know the UK and Ireland more, as there's so much to see right on my doorstep. I am a keen walker,(so far have walked Glyndwrs Way and Offas Dyke) , a novice but keen birdwatcher, sea swimmer, cyclist (basically anything that means being outside). Time is very precious and there's so much to learn.

I am practically minded, up to physical tasks and don't mind getting my hands dirty. I am happy to get on with tasks alone or with others... as well as being outdoors, I enjoy playing the fiddle (will always be contentious as its not everyone's cup of tea!) reading, cooking, history or a good documentary.

We enjoyed having Rosie and Sam to stay - they weathered the rain in their tent very good humouredly :) They did all their jobs with a cheery air! They are a lovely pair and easy to chat to. Thanks for all you did while staying with us, we really appreciated it.

My partner and myself spent a short week here, and really enjoyed it. The retreat itself is a peaceful and nurturing environment, with home-grown veg and a few farm animals, and a beautiful view of the mountain behind. My first work away and what an insightful experience. I had originally planned to stay for 2 weeks but ended up staying for 3 but could have stayed for longer.
