Description

I'm 21 years old and I juste finished my studies of "Sciences et Humanités" at Marseille in France. I take a gap year for explore the world, discover new people and culture. I'm new on Workaway but I have already had experiences of Wwoofing.

I am interested in our environment and the way we live with it, from both a philosophical and scientific point of view. During this year, I would like to contribute my time to help against social and ecological injustices, learn more about permaculture, biodiversity conservation, and and many other things, and also improve my language skills. I am looking to join hosts and associations with whom I could learn and exchange.

I'm curious and I like try new things : I did athletics, horseback riding, diving, pottery, piano. I do a bit of yoga, I like to draw and play the guitar.

I want to travel in a conscious and committed way, so I don't want to fly. Traveling with other modes of transport is much more exciting and an integral part of the adventure (I crossed France by bike and hitchhiking).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have several experiences in associations: I carried out a socio-cultural support for a child newly arrived in the territory with the AFEV, I did tutoring for children in primary school in a social center, I created and organized a solidarity thrift store for students at my university.
I also worked in a food truck at a festival and in a restaurant.

I worked on farms in Wwoofing where I developed notions on market gardening, and I took part in a cycling trip through France with the "Relais Jeunes" in which I met different actors and ecological places.

Through my studies and internships, I learned to carry out sociological and anthropological surveys and to take a critical look at the issues raised.

I speak English (level B1) and a little Spanish, and a try to learn Italian
