Hello, I'm Lola, a 21-year-old French girl who is really happy that this platform exists.

I'm currently in a gap year after graduated from a Bachelor degree. In fact, instead of jumping straight into further studies, I decided to take time to explore diverse lifestyles, travel, experiment, and get involved in meaningful projects.

I'm full of good intentions, so I hope to have great experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've done a lot of different jobs/tasks in my short life, so I guess I can say that my main skills are being versatile, curious and interested in a lot of things. I know these aren't the most useful skills if you want to build a house or fix a car, but if you give me a chance I'll do my best and I'll enjoy learning.
At the beginning of my gap year, I did an internship with an organisation where I raised awareness about climate change and biodiversity, designed educational animations and tools, and contributed to the organisation's communications. Then, I spent 2 months WWOOFing in the UK, learning about sustainable agricultural practices and organic farming. And now I work in a school, where I animate and organise activities for the pupils during breaks, lunchtimes and holidays.
During my studies, I also did an internship with a specialist in political science, focusing on issues of immigration, integration, discrimination, and secularism. I processed data from a survey on the concept of secularism and helped to organise a conference. And I've worked every summer since was eighteen. so I've been a waitress, a fast-food worker, a chambermaid...
