Hi,

I'm Roope from Finland searching for new experiences and ways of living. I've had a fairly fast paced life thats followed a predetermined path, school -> university -> (sustainability) consulting. I've always kept myself busy with projects, work, sports, etc... After achieving everything I thought I wanted, I was left quite disappointed and empty.

I've come to the realization that something needs to change. The thing that has stuck and made the most sense to me is the sustainability aspect of my previous jobs and projects. I truly enjoy helping people and nature.

I'm looking for new experiences and ways of living. It doesn't really matter where (I'd like it to be sunnier than Finland ) or what, but it needs to be something different to what I've repeated for the past 26 years and help someone or something without impeding others.

I would love to help with tasks related to physical work, outdoors, building or renovating, taking care of animals, creating something, etc... It can be simple work or something that requires more thought. I'm quite social around people but I do well on my own and appreciate my own time.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My career has been in management/sustainability consulting from startups to large listed companies (think powerpoint, excel and suits) but I'd like to stay away from that.

I am physically fit and enjoy such work, I have experiences in:
- Simple renovation work and building (from renovating my appartment to building summer camps for children)
- woodworking and upcycling furniture
- Basic gardening and farm work
- Working with children and special needs children (from ages of 7 to 18)

I am also very quick to learn, through your guidance or googling.


I am fluent in English and Finnish and I speak a little Swedish.

I like board games and video games, I go to the gym a lot, hiking (less so sleeping in a tent), second hand shopping, upcycling furniture.

I get quite excited for a lot of things and I am very interested in new hobbies and projects (especially ceramics, woodwork, arts)
