Spring 2026, I am currently in Tucson, Arizona. I am interested in light animal care, gardening, personal assistant, personal organization projects, cooking and light homestead help.

Description

Good to meet you! My name is Rae Everlasting. Now that my boys are all grown and living their happy lives, I get to be nomadic and travel. I first joined Workaway in 2020. After traveling for a couple of years I “settled down” in a couple places for extended stays. Now, I am happily back to the nomadic adventures of a Workawayer.

One of my favorite aspects of being a Workawayer is meeting new people, learning, and sharing, while opening to new ways of living in harmony with nature, with people, and with life itself. My happy place is in nature. Any day spent in the dirt is a good day :) I enjoy working with plants and with animals. I have worked many different styles of farms with all kinds of animals.

Cooking healthy meals for others to enjoy is one of my love languages. Being diagnosed with Celiacs in 2008 opened a whole new world of culinary creativity for me. I even spent time teaching gluten free cooking classes in a Natural Grocers store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Although I eat vegetarian, I have no problem preparing meat dishes for those whose bodies work best when they eat meat.

Organization, problem solving, and management skills have always come naturally to me. These skills have come in handy managing multiple business and consulting for businesses through the years. My work and life experiences are quite eclectic and range widely because of my love to learn new things and new ways of doing things. Each experience has equipped me with valuable tools to call on as required. Although my tool bag has a lot of tools in it, there is always room for more.

I am excited for this new chapter in my adventures as I travel about to learn, to share and to be of service.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Because I love to learn new things and decades of time to learn, I have a wide range of skills. My favorite skills include animal care, gardening, and culinary creations. Over the years I have done light remodeling on homes, organization of spaces, and decluttering. My study of Feng Shui alongside my innate gift for seeing the flow of energy helps me arrange spaces to be more pleasing.

Problem solving and critical thinking are some of my superpowers. The choice to listen in order to hear instead of respond makes communication much easier. Having a team member mindset lends well to working with others to accomplish our tasks with more ease and joy.

As of June 2026 I am quite settled on a small ranch in Tucson, AZ. However, I am leaving my account open for future opportunities to be of service in the Northern California, specifically Chico area.
