Hi! I am Quinte, a 25 year old girl from the Netherlands who loves her country, but also seeing more of the world! When I was 18 I lived in the U.S. for a year, and in 2024 I did a solo-trip across Latin-America for four months. I finished my masters's in Gender Studies this summer, and before starting to look for a job and going into the 'real world', I want to see a bit more! This time I would like to go to Spain, to improve my Spanish and because I want to be able to take the train (not the plane) to my next destination!

I have been on a more spiritual journey for about 2 years now, and I have loved meeting myself and others on a deeper level. Though also challenging at times of course;) Being surrounded by other people who share the same values and outlookes on life is very enriching and therefore I am looking to deepen my spiritual journey when I go to Spain, hoping to find a community of like-minded people. Moving my body more is also part of this journey for me, I enjoy doing yoga and I also love tantric dance. Furthermore I looove to dance bachata and zouk!

I studied Sociology and did my master's in Gender Studies. Equality, inclusivity and diversity are important topics to me. Furthermore, I love kids and enjoy working with them! I will tell you a bit more about these two things in the skills section :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I just finished my master's in Gender Studies and am driven and motivated to achieve change, both
professionally and personally. I have a passion for the world, society and the people around us, specifically for the (improvement of the) position of marginalized groups in our society. I love to inspire
others to think outside their own box to make the world more accepting, open, loving and sustainable!

I am a social person and good with people, I like working together but also working on my own. Furthermore, working and being with kids is something I enjoy! Children tend to navigate towards me and I navigate towards them! As a former au-pair of three kids, aged 2,4 and 6, I know how to handle (smaller) children and have a high sense of responsibility.

My friends and family would describe me as a structured, hard-working and dedicated person. I am good in planning and like to keep things clean and tidy. There was a time where I said cleaning was my hobby! I still enjoy doing it, though I wouldn't describe it as my hobby anymore; ), but I am good at tidying and organizing as well as cleaning up.

As for languages, I am fluent in Dutch and English and speak a bit of Spanish and German! I love to dance, and am always open to teaching you a few steps! ;)

I prefer to follow a vegan diet as mentioned above, though I am not very strict. If the situation asks for it, I will sometimes eat vegetarian.

I love to read and also to write as a way of gathering my thoughts. Lately I have been loving playing 'Pim Pam Pet', which is a game where you get a letter and the first person to say a word with a specific theme starting with that letter gets a card. Person with the most cards wins! Very fun, also travel friendly! Oh and I love to swim! In Dutch we say somebody is a 'waterratje', literaly water rat!;)
