I’m happy to help with a wide range of tasks, including cooking or cleaning, if it’s a fair and agreed part of the work exchange. I understand that sharing daily responsibilities is part of living together.
At the same time, I value a balanced and respectful exchange. I’ve had experiences in the past where the expectations were not very clear, and I would like to avoid situations where most of the responsibility falls on me without meaningful involvement from the host.
I’m motivated to contribute, learn, and be part of a positive environment where both sides benefit and cooperate.

My goal with Workaway is to explore new places, meet inspiring people, get involved in meaningful projects, learn new skills, and gain valuable experience. I’m open to hands-on work, creative tasks, outdoor activities, and anything that helps me grow. I’m also happy to help with daily tasks when it’s a fair and agreed part of the exchange, but I prefer work that feels meaningful rather than purely routine household chores that I could be doing at home.

I have experience working as a lighting technician in theatre, where I was responsible for the overall lighting of new productions and ensuring the smooth technical flow of performances. My role involved making sure everything related to lighting and electricity functioned reliably during shows. This job also required flexibility and mobility — I worked not only in my home theatre, but also travelled to theatres in Prague and Český Krumlov, and frequently moved across the Czech Republic.

In addition, I worked as a supervisor at a company specializing in car key cutting as well as security door cylinders. We also provided building security solutions, and I assisted customers in choosing both electronic and mechanical systems, offering practical advice tailored to their needs.

I also want to be honest about my language skills. My English is mainly practical — I can use it in work situations and everyday life, and I’m actively improving. However, I’m not yet fully fluent in conversations, especially in fast or complex discussions with native speakers. I usually understand what people need as long as the language isn’t too complicated.

Improving my English is one of the main reasons I’m travelling and doing Workaway, so I really appreciate clear and patient communication. If you’ve read this far — congratulations, you’re one of the few who did, and I’d be happy to hear from you.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a handy person and I can use many kinds of tools. I can usually fix things in my apartment and also help my family and friends with repairs. I enjoy working with modern technology too, like computers, drones, and cameras.

I can also take care of the home. I had to live on my own quite early, which helped me discover the joy of cooking. My favourite cuisines are American and Italian.

I’ve spoken only Czech all my life, so I forgot a lot of my English after school. I’d love to improve it again while traveling, meeting new people, and learning new things.

I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, especially hiking, exploring new places, and discovering nature or local landmarks. I also like staying active, whether it’s working out in a gym or exercising at home with weights or bodyweight training. Cooking is another hobby of mine, and I’m always happy to prepare a meal or learn new recipes. I enjoy social activities too, like playing board games or group games, and I’m always open to spending time with people and sharing fun moments together.
