Hi there!
I am an outgoing and somewhat unhinged person. Generally quite quiet but will start talking a lot once I am comfortable. I am passionate about conservation and wildlife. I studied conservation ecology at university, hold an MSc in Conservation Ecology and help my parents on their farm in southern Namibia. Currently I work as a Conservation & Research Coordinator on the private nature reserve: Orange River-Karoo Conservation Area (ORKCA).
I love going hiking and walking and enjoy running, horse riding and canoeing. I find meeting new people and learning new cultures as a stimulating and valuable experience. I am always ready for a new adventure whether it be visiting different places in my home country or going abroad.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in small scale vegetable production and animal husbandry coming from a sheep farm. I am used to looking after pets having had cats and dogs. Physical and mechanical labour is no stranger to me.
I also hold a MSc in Conservation Ecology with a focus on human wildlife conflict. I have worked in the field on a few private nature reserves and also over wintered on Marion Island in the subAntarctic doing research on seals.
I am an experience paddler having completed a source to sea expedition of the Orange River in South Africa.
What experience I lack I am willing to learn.
