Hi, I’m Paula a 19-year-old nature and animal lover from Germany looking for the opportunity to step out of my everyday life and experience something completely new.

I recently graduated from school and now I’m exited to explore a different country, meet new people and do meaningful, hands-on work surounded by nature instead of spending my days at a desk studying.

Fairness, compassion and advocating for animals are values that are very important to me, which is why I would especially love to work at farm animal sanctuary or an animal rescue centre where I can contribute to a good cause.

My love for animals began in early childhood. When I was 8 years old I convinced my family to adopt a dog and at the age of 9 I became vegetarian. Since then I transitioned into a vegan lifestyle which I still follow today.

I look forward to do challanging, physical work and learn more about caring for animals and living closer to nature.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Work experience:
Alongside school, I work part-time as a waitress and volunteer at a fair trade café at my school, where I work as a barista. Both of these jobs require teamwork, resilience and good communication skills. I enjoy working with people and can stay calm in stressful situations.

Travel experience:
I have traveled to several countries in Europe like France, Italy, Greece and England. Most of the time I traveled with a small camper or a tent, so I‘m used to living simply, adapting to new situations and spending a lot of time in nature.

Animal experience:
My dog has been part of my life for twelve years. I regularly take him on long walks in the forest, teach him new tricks and do agility with equipment I made myself. I love working with animals and taking care of them.
